NowMenus gives you to the power to customize all of your menus and makes access to files and folders (just about anything on your Mac) faster and easier.
• Customize your Apple menu
NowMenus lets you change the order in which items appear in the Apple menu, and group items by adding separator lines wherever you want. This allows you to quickly locate items in your Apple menu.
• Create new menus
NowMenus will let you create pull-down and pop-up “launch menus” in which you can place just about anything you use on a regular basis. Now you can open those vital files and applications in an instant!
• Display menus in a custom font
Instead of having all of your menus displayed in the standard 12 point Chicago font, NowMenus lets you select the font and size in which all your menus will be displayed. Now you can choose a small font to fit better on a smaller monitor or a large font which is easier to view.

• Reorder Apple Menu items
NowMenus lets you change the order in which items appear in your Apple Menu:
1) Open the NowMenus control panel.
2) Select Apple Manu from the pull-down menu to bring up your Apple Menu items.
3) To change the order in which items appear, simply click and drag an item to its new location. You will see the difference immediately.
• Hierarchical Submenus
NowMenus will let you launch any file on your hard drive without having to open folder after folder to locate the file.
1) Make an alias of your hard drive.
2) Place the alias in your Apple Menu Items folder (located in your System Folder).
3) Pull down the Apple menu and highlight your hard drive alias—notice the submenu that appears next to it. You can now open anything in your hard drive up to five levels deep instantly!
• Auto-pull menus
NowMenus will let you pull down a menu and select a menu item without having to keep your finger on the mouse button.
1) Open the NowMenus control panel and click the “Preferences…” button.
2) Under Special Features, select the “Automatically pull menus” checkbox.
Now your menus will drop with a single click and stay pulled down until you click again, making it much easier to locate and select menu items, particularly from submenus. Try out this feature by highlighting your hard drive on the Apple menu and navigating through the submenus. Once you have located the item you wish to launch or open, simply click on it. This is a particularly great feature for PowerBook users.
